Schedule—Coming Winter 2025!
We are still in planning mode. Once our schedule is set, we will publish it here—and also share widely.

Collaborative Membership
Our Collaborative includes individuals, non-profit organizations, faith communities, agencies, and educational institutions across DeKalb County. The series is coordinated by DeKalb Migrant Aid, in partnership with a team of hosts for each event, comprised of community leaders, service providers, and volunteers.
Each member participates in planning and execution of series events. However, participation is unique to each person and institution. Everyone brings something to the table, so to speak. Participation and roles are formed by individual interests, strengths, expertise, bandwidth, resources, and goals of each individual and organization.

"The Community Unity Through Food Initiative aims to cultivate positive community relations through a series of pilot projects. This initiative seeks to bring together existing community members with newer community members, migrants, and asylum seekers from all backgrounds through food-centered events, meals, town hall-style meetings, or other gatherings. Facilitated sharing of lived experiences will be an integral part of gatherings, with a focus on community building."
